Behaviour Management refers to using a set of educational practices and strategies to effectively manage classroom behaviour so that it promotes a positive learning environment. 

Culturally relevant and responsive

Culturally relevant and responsive curriculum incorporates participants’ cultural experiences and perspectives for effective teaching and learning.

Inclusive Language

Inclusive language is the words and phrases that avoid biases, slang, and expressions that discriminate against any particular group of people. Incorporating inclusive language in the classroom can create a sense of empowerment, identity and pride.

Indigenous Principles of Learning

Indigenous Principles of Learning incorporate Indigenous ways of thinking, being and learning into learning curriculum.

Intercultural competence

Intercultural Competence is the ability to interact effectively and appropriately with people across different cultures.

Learning Space

Learning space refers to a physical setting for a good learning environment, it may refer to a traditional classroom, an indoor/outdoor location or a virtual or actual space.  Having a good learning space can increase productivity, alertness and focus in the individual using it.  

 
 

Social-emotional skills

Social-emotional skills include the self-awareness, self-control, and interpersonal skills that are vital for school, work, and life success.
